National Parks in India

This route is for those who want to learn about the Indian culture and the wonderful monuments famous all over the world. The visit of the beautiful city of the Golden Triangle, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Khajuraho and the mystique is punctuated by the knowledge of an India Alternatively, one of the great national parks that are home to tigers, leopards, elephants, crocodiles ..... in an environment rich in biodiversity and extraordinary landscapes.

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival at the airport in Delhi, meeting with our staff and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

 

Day 02: Delhi
Breakfast and then tour in Old Delhi. Visit the Red Fort Outside, a UNESCO heritage site, built in 1639 by Emperor Shah Jahan Mogul. Visit the mosque Jama Masjid in 1656. Step inside the famous Chandni Chowk 17th century market. Visit Raj Ghat, where Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Continuation to New Delhi to the government district. Stop at India Gate, erected in memory of the Indian soldiers who died in the First World War. Visit the complex of the Qutub Minar, a tower of 73 meters, engraved with verses of the Koran, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 03: Delhi / Jaipur (Km.270 - about 6 hours)
Breakfast and departure to Jaipur, the "Pink City", with its pink sandstone buildings that characterize the beautiful Old Town. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 04: Jaipur
Breakfast and visit the Amber fort, whose construction began in 1592 at the hands of Raja Man Singh I, oldest state capital and seat of Rajput dynasties until the founding of Jaipur. Inside, refined décor with sculptures, mirrors, precious stones. To the entrance elephant or jeep (subject to availability). Return to the city and stop in front of the magnificent Palace of the Winds of 1799. Start of Jaipur visit, founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Visit the complex of the City Palace, home of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Jai Singh II who had it built in the sixteenth century and still the royal residence today. Visit the Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory, the World Heritage site, architectural forms used as astronomical instruments, built by the same ruler. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 05: Jaipur / Ranthambore (Km. 150)
Breakfast and departure for Sawai Madhopur where the famous Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, including the spectacular view of the Aravalli hills. Towards the evening hike in the Jungle to try the Bengal tiger. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 06: Ranthambore National Park
Breakfast. In the morning and evening to hike into the jungle to admire the fauna and flora of this beautiful park including the Indian tigers in addition to other animal species (blue antelopes, leopards, hyenas, deer, bears, leopards, jungle cats, reptiles, a variety of birds and so on). The national park, dotted with Banyan, large Indian trees, it is watered by two rivers and a lake. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 07: Ranthambore - Bharatpur (Keoladeo National Park)
Breakfast and departure to Bharatpur to visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, the main bird reserve of India, shrine of many stable and migratory birds, including rare species, even coming from China, Siberia, Europe and Tibet who come here to live lakes and swamps where they breed. After heavy rains, even aquatic birds such as cranes, geese, flamingos, storks, pelicans and many others find here their shelter and living with cervicapra mammals such as antelope, the blue antelope, wild boar, chital, the sambar and even pythons. Day 08: Bharatpur (Keoladeo National Park)
Breakfast and excursion by boat to admire the birds, their nests and their sounds. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 09: Bharatpur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
Breakfast and departure to Agra with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abbanfonata after 15 years to water shortages. Day 10: Agra / Orchha / Khajuraho
Breakfast and departure with Intercity train to Jhansi at 08:11, arriving at 10:45 hours; meeting with our staff and visit Orccha, medieval city with ancient palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th. Visit the city, in particular the Jehangir Mahal, built in 1606 to house the emperor Jehangir visiting the city. Free time to wander around. In the afternoon departure to Khajuraho, built by the Chandela dynasty, in power in Central India between the Xth and XIth century and home to about 25 temples with beautiful fering, the famous erotic. Day 11: Khajuraho / Bandhavgarh National Park
In the morning visit the magnificent Jain temples and Hindu heritage site, sacred emblems of Indian architecture. Finally, drive to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 12: Bandhavgarh National Park
Breakfast. In the morning and in the evening excursions into the jungle to discover the flora and fauna of the Park where tigers live, even the white tiger, and other animals such as birds, foxes, deer, jackals, Indian bison, gazelles, deer, chital, leopards, deer dappled, blue antelope, wild cats, hyenas and reptiles, plus many others. Bandhavgarh has a great biodiversity and is the place with the highest density of tigers in India. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 13: Bandhavgarh / Kanha National Park
Breakfast and departure to the Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh, one of India's largest (1940 sq km. -the Inputs are distant from them 4 hours driving), with a community of about 250 Indian tigers who lives permanently. The writer Rudyard Kipling imagined here the stories told in the famous novel "The Jungle Book". Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 14: Kanha National Park
Breakfast. In the morning and towards the evening excursions into the jungle to observe the beauty of the park. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 15: Kanha / Jabalpur / Delhi (flight from Jabalpur to Delhi)
Breakfast. Early morning departure to reach the 'airport for the flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for breakfast. Free time for individual initiatives. In the evening transfer to the airport.

 

Day 16: Departure from Delhi
Flight boarding for the return home.
